Hybrid Renewable Power System
HydraVolt Cascade
Uses solar-driven sea-water vapor cycles plus gravity-fed mountain storage to generate, store, and distribute power.
Overview
HydraVolt Cascade is a high-efficiency energy system built on a closed water-power loop. Solar heat vaporizes seawater, drives turbines, and routes vapor to high-altitude reservoirs for stored potential energy. That stored water can later generate electricity on demand through dam infrastructure. The same loop also supports neighborhood water distribution, combining renewable power and utility resilience in one model.
Challenge
Maintaining efficient phase-change energy conversion while coordinating long-distance transport, high-altitude storage, and grid dispatch stability.
Solution
A dual-cycle control framework that optimizes thermal-vapor generation and hydro release scheduling based on demand forecasts and storage conditions.
